TUPAC’S PRISON I.D. CARD FOR SALE ON JULY 1
For just $2,000 you can possibly own the prison identification card of the late Tupac Shakur. Pac’s prison ID is set to hit auction on July 1, 2019.
Being one of the most influential legends of Hip-Hop, Tupac served a year and a half sentence at the Clinton Correctional Facility in New York after being convicted of first-degree sexual assault.
The items the young rapper left behind after he was shot and killed in 1996 have done well in auctions over the past few months. Back in January, an explicit drawing 'Pac made while serving time in the same prison sold for at least $21,000. 10 potential buyers put in bids for the drawing, but in the end, the NSFW piece of art was sold to a wealthy man in his 60s for a grand total of $21,155.75.
As for the prison I.D, it iis from 1995 and has been obtained by Heritage Auctions.
The I.D. card has Pac’s signature as well as more details about the late legend.
The GOAT was locked up for a total of nine months. Recently an auction of a letter he wrote to Madonna was appealed by the pop star to no avail. Even after all of these years, Tupac still finds himself relevant in the rap and hip hop culture.
