Over the next three days, rapper Travis Scott will be hosting 5 concerts inside of the Fortnite gaming world. Epic Games revealed this in-game concert experience on Wednesday, April 20, 2020. The virtual tour is titled Astronomical. Epic describes it as “an other-worldly experience inspired by Cactus Jack’s creations, built from the ground up in Fortnite.” It will include the debut of a brand-new song. Here's the schedule:
Additionally, there will be added incentives for tuning into the virtual concert. Some of these incentives include a new Travis Scott skin, along with emotes and other items. Players who attend any of the concerts will get an exclusive glider and loading screens seen below:
There are three challenges available that will give gamers access to other items. The challenges are available for free ahead of today's concert. Here’s a rundown of each challenge and the rewards you can earn by completing them.
Once all three challenges are completed, you can unlock the "rage emote". This emote features Travis’ iconic moment in which he was captured raising a microphone stand above his head while yelling into the crowd. Game designers have added a flair to this moment with a flaming microphone above his head.
Keep in mind this concert is free and cannot sell out. If you aren’t able to experience the shows in-game, you can expect a lot of streamers to be broadcasting them live. Here are a few to keep your eye on:
