If you haven't heard, Rico Nasty recently dropped her cyberwave-inspired single titled "IPHONE", which is a delectable preview teaser to her upcoming debut album 'Nightmare Vacation'.
Rico never disappoints with her out-of-the-ordinary digital visuals, perfectly paired with the nostalgic alternative cyber fashion galore. In the video, she arrives on the scene straight from an iPhone screen and gazed into the camera with blown up, animated eyes. On specific occasions, her personified cyber self dives right back into the screens of technology, lyrics dripping with auto tune and the tug-of-war lyricism of complicated love.

According to Dazed, her latest single "IPHONE" serves as a "follow-up to a collaboration between Rico Nasty and 100 gecs earlier this year in the track, "ringtone (remix)". Feature appearances such as Charli XCX and Kero Kero Bonito is on the remixed version of the breakthrough album titled "1000 gecs and the Tree of Clues" from 2019.
In an interview hosted by Dazed, she reveals that her debut studio album is not based on one aesthetic. She continues by stating that, the record includes another voice [she has] developed and will soon showcase more.
The song is the latest addition in the thread of tracks Rico has released this year since her April 2020 'Anger Management' collaborative album, with Kenny Beats. Recently, she made an appearance on the new Kali Uchis song, "Aquí Yo Mando" on August 10th, 2020. Take a look at the new music video below:
