Public Enemy Announces New Album, Features Nas, Run-DMC, Beastie Boys and More

Public Enemy has announced their latest upcoming album, titled "What You Gonna Do When The Grid Goes Down", making it their first comeback album for Def Jam in over 25 years. Their tracklist is jam-packed with powerhouse features from Black Thought, Rapsody, NasQuestlove, YG, Jahi and more.



 The two, most recent releases includes Juneteenth single, "State of The Union" featuring DJ Premier and "Public Enemy Number Won" featuring surviving Beastie Boys members Mike D & Ad-Rock and Run-DMC. In addition to the madness, a funkadelia groove with George Clinton is wrapped into the album, along with more music with Ice-TDaddy-O, and member of EPMD, PMD.

The world experienced the remixed single, "Fight The Power (2020)" featuring Nas, during the opening of the 2020 BET AwardsTheir last release under Def Jam dates all the way back to 1998 with their sixth studio album, "He Got Game", which served as the soundtrack to iconic screenwriter, Spike Lee‘s film of the same title.
