On Wednesday, April 14 Playboi Carti uploaded a captionless picture of what many speculate to be the cover to his sophomore album, Whole Lotta Red. This will be the follow-up to his 2018 debut Die Lit which entered the Billboard 200 at No. 3 during its opening week.
Lil Uzi Vert then hopped on Twitter saying "Playboi Carti :)" but the tweet was deleted shortly after.
Ken Carson, a member of Carti’s OPIUM label also took to Instagram after Carti's post, writing “Thursday” in red in a since-deleted Instagram Story.

With all of this speculation, it's hard not to assume that Carti's Whole Lotta Red will be dropping any day now. Back in July of 2019, Carti originally announced in an interview with Fader that the album would drop within 60 days and contains no features. As of today, we are still waiting for an official release date for this project but best believe he's got fans on the edge of their seat.
UPDATE: First single "@ MEH" has JUST been released along with visual!
