NEW RELEASE: Juice WRLD's Animated "Wishing Well" Music Video

On July 13th, 2020, Juice WRLD surfaces on the trending chart once again in his animated, visual video "Wishing Well", diving into his depictions with mental health, substance use, and his struggle with fame.

Juice is shown as a Sim-related character where his universe is symbolically constructed by his internal demons, thoughts, and emotions serving as various levels to combat and concur in this three-minute and twenty-two-second music video. His acknowledgment of the detrimental bond between his life and the drugs flows in a synthesizing, alternative hip-hop focus directed on his focus towards rehab and reaching the goal of positivity.

The song resides in his latest album release, "Legends Never Die", being his first posthumous album compassing a total of twenty-one songs. "Wishing Well", the 14th track in the album, metaphorically dissects his desire to release himself from the imprisonment of his relationship with drugs and depression.

In his second verse of the song, he eerily foreshadows the drugs taking his life stating "Let’s be for real/If it wasn’t for the pills, I wouldn’t be here/But if I keep taking these pills, I won’t be here, yeah/I just told y’all my secret, yeah/It’s tearing me to pieces/I really think I need them/I stopped taking the drugs and now the drugs take me."

His platform continues to present itself as a safe space for fans to explore and discuss their own tribulations with their mental health. Through the admiration held for his upfront and melodic commentary, fans continue to keep his name alive and prosperous.
