NAV ANNOUNCES NEW ALBUM ‘GOOD INTENTIONS’

With so many Toronto recording artists making their city proud so far in 2020, Nav joins the takeover by announcing his next album, Good Intentions will be dropping on May 8, 2020. The Canadian rapper-producer made the announcement through a trailer uploaded to his youtube channel on Monday, April 27.

It is no surprise that Canada is full of talent. With recent superstars scoring some impressive numbers after their first-week releases, Nav hopes to have a strong follow-up. The Weeknd, Tory Lanez, PARTYNEXTDOOR, DVSN, and Jessie Reyez are just a few Canadian superstars that started their 2020 off strong. Last month, Nav released his first single titled "Turks" featuring Travis Scott and Gunna. The track was produced by Wheezy and was previewed a couple of times before it's actual release.

The album follows 2019’s Bad Habits which debuted at No. 1 and was executive produced by The Weeknd. In the trailer to Good Intentions, Nav speaks on his connection to music and what it means to him to be able to deliver another project to the world. We can see Nav speaking on FaceTime with Lil Uzi Vert and can't help but wonder if he is teasing collaborations with a few of his close friends in the industry. In other shots, Nav is seen with Young Thug and the late Pop Smoke in the studio, which also points to possible collaborations with them in this new release.
