DJ Akademiks says went straight to the police after Meek Mill allegedly threatened him online.— rap favorites (@rapfavs) July 28, 2020
According to HNHH, The drama was brewing for the past few weeks, with the influence of the intertwined feud between Meek Mill and Tekashi 6ix9ine. Through adding fuel to the fire, Ak's loyalty to one of Meek's biggest enemies played a significant role in how this situation escalated to where it stands now.
Meek took to social media to demand the media commentator to stop posting about him, stemming from this post he created below:
This is where it got messy. During a live-stream, Akademiks essentially tackled Meek's inability to properly use the Internet, calling him a 'comment thug' and claiming other conspiracies regarding the rapper, such as the run-in with him and Nicki Minaj's boyfriend.
Once he heard that Meek Mill put a "green light" on him (meaning that Meek essentially has given permission for people to violate him [or worse] in the streets), he alerted the police and provided any or all receipts enforcement would need: mainly social media information, as we know.
Meek seems to be occupied with matters that need more attention, as he posted this Instagram post addressing the Breonna Taylor case at 3 p.m. on July 29th, 2020:
